How to vet an accommodation provider before paying
Ask for the official business name and contacts, and a written quote naming the hotel, rooms, dates, total price, payment and cancellation terms. Ask for confirmation in the guest’s name, pay only to an account in the same business name, and keep all messages. Companies should check the commercial registration and the signatory’s authority.
What should a booking quote include?
Request the hotel name, room type, beds, nights, total price, currency, taxes and any meals. Review the deposit, confirmation deadline, cancellation and amendment terms, and check-in/out times. A WhatsApp enquiry is not a confirmed reservation; retain written confirmation.
